Abu Dhabi witnessed plenty of history as UFC 294 looked to amaze the crowd from competitive and anticipated fights, to crazy first-round finishes despite a couple of disappointments. With that said, here are the results as to what happened on the UFC 294 card from the Early Prelims, all the way to the Main Event.

Early Prelims

Shara Magomedov vs Bruno Silva (Middleweight Bout) – Magomedov wins via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov made a good impression on his UFC debut as he gets a Decision victory and remains undefeated on his MMA record. The Middleweight division will be aware of this Russian rising superstar.

Viktoriia Dudakova vs Jinh Yu Frey (Strawweight Bout) – Dudakova wins via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Viktoriia Dudakova continues her winning streak with a Unanimous Decision win and stays undefeated 8-0-0. She looks to extend her winning streak and show more dominance in the UFC Strawweight division.

Nathaniel Wood vs Muhammad Naimov (Featherweight Bout) – Naimov wins via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Naimov stops The Prospect’s three-fight winning streak as he picks up his second win in the UFC. He grabs his first Unanimous Decision win in his career.

Mike Breeden vs Anshul Jubli (Lightweight Bout) – Breeden wins via KO (R3, 3:00).

Mike Breeden gets his first victory in the UFC and becomes the first man to beat Indian Fighter, Anshul Jubli. The fight ended with Breeden knocking Jubli down with a right-hand punch which led to the referee to stop the fight.

Preliminary Card

Abu Azaitar vs Sedriques Dumas (Middleweight Bout) – Dumas wins via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Sedriques Dumas begins his glory streak after getting his second consecutive victory in the UFC with another Decision win. Abu Azaitar is still yet to have won a fight in MMA since 2018.

Javid Basharat vs Victor Henry (Bantamweight Bout) – Ends in a No Contest after a groin shot (R2, 0:15).

After Javid Basharat hit an accidental groin kick, Victor Henry was no longer able to continue as he showed how much pain he was in when given five minutes to see if he could still fight.

Mohammad Yahya vs Trevor Peek (Lightweight Bout) – Peek wins via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Trevor Peek picked up his first ever Decision victory and his second UFC win after going the distance with Mohammad Yahya, who was fighting in his home country.

Tim Elliott vs Muhammad Mokaev (Flyweight Bout) – Mokaev wins via Arm Triangle Choke (R3, 3:03)

Muhammad Mokaev remains undefeated and picks up his sixth Submission victory in his career. The Russian-born English fighter ended the fight against Tim Elliott with an Arm Triangle Choke, making it his third consecutive Submission win in the UFC, and moves up the Flyweight rankings.

Main card

Said Nurmagomedov vs Muin Gafurov (Bantamweight Bout) – Said wins via Guillotine Choke (R1, 1:13).

Said Nurmagomedov goes back to winning ways after picking up his third Submission victory in the UFC. Said becomes the first fighter to finish Muin Gafurov after submitting him with a Guillotine Choke. As Gafurov is yet to be victorious in the UFC, Nurmagomedov looks to soon enter the Bantamweight rankings.

Ikram Aliskerov vs Warlley Alves (Middleweight Bout) – Aliskerov wins via TKO (R1, 2:07).

Ikram Aliskerov proved he was the real deal after getting another first-round KO/TKO victory in the UFC. Warlley Alves' losing streak extends to three despite taking this fight on short notice. Ikram will look to enter the Middleweight rankings soon or in his next fight against a tough contender after the Paulo Costa and Nassourdine Imavov fights were cancelled due to change of opponents or injury.

Magomed Ankalaev vs Johnny Walker (Light Heavyweight Bout) – ends in a No Contest after an unintentional illegal knee.

An anticipated Light Heavyweight bout ended in disaster after Magomed Ankalaev hit a knee strike to Johnny Walker whilst the Brazilian fighter was down, which is deemed illegal. Despite Walker wanting to continue the fight, the referee would take the doctor’s advice and stop the fight which sparked outrage out of both fighters. A rematch could be settled between these two big 205-pound contenders after an unfortunate stoppage to the fight at UFC 294.

Co-Main Event

Khamzat Chimaev vs Kamaru Usman (Middleweight Bout) – Chimaev wins via Majority Decision (29-27, 29-27, 28-28).

Khamzat Chimaev stays undefeated with a Majority Decision victory, the second Majority Decision that Kamaru Usman has lost since UFC 286. Chimaev became the second fighter to takedown Usman as he achieved this twice during the three rounds. Whilst it’s unsure what is next for ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, ‘Borz’ possibly may have earned himself a title shot against UFC Middleweight Champion, Sean Strickland.

Main Event

Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski (Lightweight Championship Bout) – Makhachev wins via KO (R1, 3:06).

Islam Makhachev made the crowd go wild after shockingly knocking out Alexander Volkanovski with a head kick in the first-round. Both men did show respect and sportsmanship after the fight. Whilst Volkanovski will happily fight in January for his next Featherweight title defence, Makhachev is not bothered who is next for the UFC Lightweight title as he wants Dana White to choose the opponent.

Performance of the Night bonuses:

- Islam Makhachev

- Ikram Aliskerov

- Said Nurmagomedov

- Muhammad Mokaev
