The Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall hosts a fantastic fight card for UFC Atlantic City. This features an incredible Women's Flyweight bout between #2 contender, Erin Blanchfield, and #3 contender, Manon Fiorot, as one of them are most likely to be the next challenger for the undisputed title. With that being said here is everything you need to know about the Main Event.

Erin Blanchfield has already achieved so much at just the age of the 24, currently sitting near the top of the Flyweight rankings and the #4 pound-for-pound UFC female fighter.

Cold Blooded last fought at UFC Singapore where she defeated former title challenger, Talia Santos, by unanimous decision. Before that, she was on a three-fight submission winning streak, submitting the likes of; Jessica Andrade, Molly McCann, and JJ Aldrich.

The New Jersey fighter has stopped half of her opponents she has conquered with two KO/TKO victories and four submission wins. Her only loss came against the current #11 Flyweight contender, Tracy Cortez, by split decision which occurred at Invicta FC 34.

A victory for Blanchfield will most certainly earn her a shot at the 125-pound division belt as she will face the winner of Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, proving to be interesting match-ups for the young and dominant fighter.

Manon Fiorot has looked unstoppable in the UFC, coming in as the #6 pound-for-pound female fighter and like her opponent she is near the top of the Flyweight rankings.

The Beast previously fought in her home country of France when she defeated former two-time UFC Strawweight Champion, Rose Namajunas, by unanimous decision at UFC Paris. Before her home triumph, Fiorot did defeat two former Flyweight title challengers, Katlyn Cerminara and Jennifer Maia.

The Nice-born mixed martial artist has always preferred a knockout with six KO/TKO victories in the 11 wins she has earned. Her only loss came at the start of her professional MMA career, losing to Leah McCourt by split decision at Cage Warriors 94.

Just like Blanchfield, Fiorot has the opportunity to fight for the title next as it could be her last opportunity to have a title push, aging at 34 years old.

Other fights you should look out for

Virna Jandiroba vs Loopy Godinez - Jandiroba last fought at UFC 288 where she claimed an unanimous decision win over Marina Rodriguez. Carcara is a huge submission threat in the Strawweight division with a total of 13 submission wins out of 19 MMA career victories. The Brazilian will aim to maintain her #5 contender's spot and be involved in a title contention.

Godinez is on a four-fight winning streak with all four victories occurring in 2023 with three decisions wins and a submission victory. She last fought at UFC 295 where she defeated Tabatha Ricci by split decision. The #10 Strawweight contender could boost up the rankings and have a possible title opportunity of she is successful in Atlantic City.

Nate Landwehr vs Jamall Emmers - Landwehr had the opportunity to enter the Featherweight rankings in his last fight when he fought the current #12 contender, Dan Ige, and lost by unanimous decision at UFC 289. Nate The Train did get a a victory last year, defeating Austin Lingo by second-round submission at UFC San Antonio. This fight could give him another shot at entering the rankings if he is victorious.

Emmers fought three times in 2023; winning by unanimous decision over Khusein Askhabov, losing a split decision to Jack Jenkins, and defeating Dennis Buzukja by first-round TKO at UFC 295. Emmers is yet to begin a winning streak in the UFC and with his last fight successfully, this could be an opportunity to make that happen.

Chris Weidman vs Bruno Silva - Weidman returned to the top MMA promotion at UFC 292 after a horrific leg injury, but his welcome back did not go to plan as he lost by unanimous decision to Brad Tavares. The former UFC Middleweight Champion has only won two of his last nine fights as he has not been on the greatest form. With The All-American currently on a two-fight losing streak, Weidman will look to find redemption and give the crowd something to cheer for.

Silva had a good start to 2023 when he defeated Brad Tavares by first-round TKO at UFC Vegas 81, but would lose his next two fights with one of them against Brendan Allen by first-round submission and the other against Sharaputdin Magomedov by unanimous decision. Blindado always looks to knock his opponents out as he currently 20 knockout win out of the 23 MMA victories he has. A big KO win over Weidman could really boost Silva's career and may be just give him contention for a spot in the Middleweight rankings

Vicente Luque vs Joaquin Buckley - Luque ended a two-fight losing streak when he defeated former UFC Lightweight Champion, Rafael dos Anjos, by unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 78. With 20 fights in the UFC, The Silent Assassin has only lost five as he has been a well-recognised veteran in the promotion. The #11 Welterweight contender will want to maintain his ranking if he wants to boost back up the rankings and fight the top contenders in his weight division.

Buckley was undefeated in 2023 with two wins, one by second-round TKO against Andre Fialho and the other ending in an unanimous decision against Alex Morono at UFC Vegas 80. New Mansa always prefers the knockout as 12 of his 17 wins have ended by KO/TKO. The 2020 Knockout of the Year winner has the grandest opportunity to enter the Welterweight rankings, increase his winning streak and get the biggest win of his MMA career.
