Disaster event ends with main event cancellation

UFC Vegas 107 may be the most disappointing event of the year after fights being cancelled before the event, as well as the main event being shut down in the last minute due to Maycee Barber suffering a seizure during her preparations for her Flyweight battle against Erin Blanchfield.

Despite that, some entertaining battles and showstopping finishes were still witnessed to at least give the MMA community some enjoyment. Here is everything that happened at the APEX.

Rayanne dos Santos and Alice Ardelean went into a gruelling war for three rounds as the fight went the distance with the Romanian's hand being raised, winning by unanimous decision. The two Strawweights would receive a Fight of the Night bonus for their efforts in the Octagon.

The event carried on with another thrilling contest between Bolaji Oki and Michael Aswell Jr with The Zulu Warrior claiming the unanimous decision win, despite a lot of respect being given to Aswell Jr on his UFC debut.

Jordan Leavitt had the pleasure of earning the first stoppage win of the night after quickly securing a first-round submission with an Anaconda Choke, making quick work of Kurt Holobaugh to claim long-awaited redemption.

An intriguing grappling matchup saw Allan Nascimento earn an unanimous decision win against Jafel Filho in the final fight of the prelims, increasing his triumphant streak to three.

The betting odds were defied with Zachary Reese and Dusko Todorovic going the distance as the American won by unanimous decision, his second victory that's gone to the judges scorecards.

Ketlen Vieira maintained her #3 Bantamweight contender's spot after defeating Macy Chiasson by unanimous decision, redeeming her loss against the next title challenger, Kayla Harrison.

It didn't take long for Dustin Jacoby to be victorious and start his win streak after a first-round knockout win against Bruno Lopes, equalling his two previous knockout losses as he eyes to get back in the Light Heavyweight rankings.

Ramiz Brahimaj pulled off a showstopping performance and earned his 11th career submission win, defeating Billy Ray Goff in the first round.

Unexpectedly, the last bout of the fight card ended with Mateusz Gamrot keeping his #7 position in the Lightweight rankings after a dominant performance to win by unanimous decision against Ludovit Klein.

Next week, the Prudential Center hosts UFC 316 which sees Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malley headline the event in their rematch, while Julianna Pena defends her UFC Women's Bantamweight title against Kayla Harrison in the Co-Main Event.
