The Bridgestone Arena hosted nothing but an action-packed night full of knockouts, submissions and brawls. Here is everything that happened in what could be the UFC's best fight night of 2025.
preliminary card
The event started off with an impressive third-round TKO win for Fatima Kline after landing an incredible head kick, knocking down Melissa Martinez before finishing the battle with a few ground strikes. This earned 'The Archangel' a Performance of the Night bonus.
Mike Davis continued UFC Nashville's incredible start with a second-round TKO over Mitch Ramirez, allowing him to get back in the win column.
Valter Walker pulled off a third-consecutive first-round heel hook submission win against Kennedy Nzechukwu, making him worthy of earning a place in the Heavyweight rankings. Not forgetting that he earned a Performance of the Night bonus.
Eduarda Moura sent Lauren Murphy into retirement after earning an unanimous decision victory, despite the UFC veteran coming close to submitting the Brazilian in the third round.
Jake Matthews just needed over a minute to increase his winning streak to three after submitting Chidi Njokuani with a Short Choke in round one.
In the featured prelim, Chris Curtis just edged a split decision win against max Griffin to succeed on his UFC Welterweight debut and snap his two-fight losing streak.
main card
The fiery action continued with Tuco Tokkos putting himself back in the win column after defeating Junior Tafa by second-round submission with an Arm Triangle Choke.
Vitor Petrino shined on his Heavyweight debut after submitting Austen Lane in the first round with a Rear-Naked Choke, while also snapping a two-fight losing streak.
Morgan Charriere returned to winning ways after a third-round knockout against Nate Landwehr. A battle that was deserving of a Fight of the Night bonus.
Despite not finding the knockout, Steve Garcia still extended his winning streak to six after going the distance with Calvin Kattar to win by unanimous decision, moving himself into the Featherweight rankings.
Gabriel Bonfim was victorious in the co-main event as he defeated Stephen Thompson by split decision, putting himself in the Welterweight rankings despite many fans believing that the judges got the decision wrong.
Finally, in the headliner, Derrick Lewis pulled off a 35-second TKO win against Tallison Teixeira in a big underdog victory, keeping himself in the top 10 of the Heavyweight rankings and increasing his record of most knockouts in UFC history to 16.
Next week, New Orleans is set to prepare for The Last Dance as Dustin Poirier fights for the last time in the Octagon against Max Holloway for the BMF title at UFC 318.
