Here is the list of Premier League players whose goals are lucky charms for their teams, having never lost when they have scored.
james milner - brighton hove albion and england:
The industrious veteran is recognised for his work rate and longevity rather than his goalscoring form. However, he has scored in 54 games across spells at Leeds United, Manchester City and Liverpool and is currently unbeaten when he has found the back of the net. In those 54 games he has 43 wins and 11 draws. He hasn't added to that impressive run for over three seasons in the Premier League, with no goals in 72 appearances.
gabriel jesus - arsenal & brazil
Is it any coincidence that Arsenal's reinassance under Mikel Arteta was propelled last season as they took Manchester City all the way, after the Brazilian striker joined the North London club. The 26 year old striker has scored in 60 games, never tasting defeat when he has scored. It's no wonder his proness to injury is a major concern to Mikel Arteta , and they will be desperate he remains fit until the end of the season to maximise the club's chances of finally lifting a Premier League title for the first time since 2004.
Darius vassel -
The retired former Aston Villa, Manchester City and Leicester City striker finished his career scoring in 46 games and never tasting defeat. He managed 36 wins and 10 draws; which is a remarkable feat given his 13 years in the top flight between 1998 to 2012. His most successful period was at Aston Villa where his form earnt him a place at the 2002 World Cup and 2004 European Championship for England.
diogo jota - liverpool & portugal
The 26 year old forward was a perfect signing to fit Jurgen Klopp's counter-attacking system when he joined Liverpool for £50m in 2020. He has scored 55 goals in 141 appearances for the Reds and was on the brink of breaking Steve Nicol's unbeaten record when scoring for Liverpool. Unfortunately, for the in form forward Liverpool's group stage defeat to Toulouse in the Europa League ended his 39 unbeaten run streak when scoring, however, its still worthy of a mention and is a remarkable run.
Salomon Kalou
Spending six decorative seasons at Chelsea the Ivorian scored in 32 games and was never defeated, winning 29 games and drawing three. It's no wonder he has such an impressive record playing in a formidable Chelsea side, where he lifted one Premier League title under Carlo Ancelotti and the illustrious Champions League in 2012.
Oyvind Leohandsen
The former serial Premier League midfielder, spent seasons at Wimbeldon, Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa in the top flight. He managed to score in 28 games without defeat during his nine years in England, winning 21 and drawing in seven.
